Great deal on Kitchen Aid Mixer

Just incase some of you have been looking for a great deal on a Kitchen Aid mixer.

The Red Kitchen Aid mixer is on sale for $114.00 and if you purchase it this month you get a rebate for the meat slicer or grinder gadget that attaches to it. The mixer is $299.00 originally, don't know how much the slicer/grinder gadget it, but...less than %50 off is a great deal

FYI - I was able to purchase the ''floor'' model for $80 making it an even sweeter deal for me... So if you guys see that Lowes has somthing on clearance you can get a wonderful deal on the ''floor'' model. Just ask one of the sales associates.

What size is this?

I *think* that I've read that Lowe's will take competitor's coupons and that they are pretty liberal about what's a competitor. If Bed, Bath, and Beyond sells the mixer, for example, you could use one of their 20% off coupons to buy it at Lowe's. I could be mistaken, but it's worth asking.

So, if I go to Lowes with one of my 10% off BBB q's - they should accept it and apply it to the $114 sale price??

Or is this YMMV - guess I'll have to call and ask...

But, $102.60 and in Red (will match our Kitchen!) is a great price to me =)

Lowes also has a flyer out now with a coupon on the back for $10 off a $50 purchase FYI.

I went in with a bed,bath, and beyond 20% off coupon last July when they had a similar deal going and they accepted it with no problem. Lowes is pretty coupon friendly so far.

I think it is ymmv when it comes to the competitors coupons. My Lowes refusesd a Home Depot q. I am wondering if it because we don't have a HD in my area?
