I used those Pillsbury IPs today, and they doubled without intervention

However, I used 3 Wisker Licken' coupons 1.50/2 and none of them doubled. All scanned at face value. I pointed it out, mgr came over and examined the coupon closely- it doesn't say DND and it starts with a "5".
It has both the old and new barcode.

I wonder what's going on with so many coupons not doubling...

Ok, so the same thing happened to me on a $1.50/10 Alpo coupon. When I questioned it, they they would add .48 to make it to $1.98. I thought "What"? They seemed to think that the coupons could only double up to $1.98 which means that the computers were only programmed to double the $1.00 coupons. I told them that didn't make sense and they still seemed perplexed. They ended up taking off the other amounts but were not happy about it. They didn't even know what their own promotion SD was!

Some stores registers are not updated to scan new barcodes. I had this problem with the 0.55/2 Hormel Pepperoni and the cashier would not take them. I talked to the store manager later about the issue and she told me the registers were updated that morning. The Alexia & Eat bars wouldn't scan so they manually doubled those for me. So far I've been lucky with cashiers but I've had to tell them what to do. The cashier I had last night has only been on a register for two days.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.

Phew! Glad GM is not coding them as DND. Hmm, really odd thing going on with their system then.

Something isn't right. We've always been able to predict which coupons wouldn't double, and now it seems random. In fact, inconsistent from shopper to shopper.
This kind of thing has never happened at HT, but I'll be watching next week to see if it does. Maybe there's a coding bug in the new bar codes.

My Lowes Foods store doubled all my DND coupons without a problem. My Harris-Teeter store is very strict and pulls them all. This is strictly on a store level-some pull some don't. I've used as many DND's this week as possible because I can't use them at HT next week.
