    Default Fuel Rewards

Fuel Rewards-Save on filling your tank just for filling your pantry!

Save 5 cents per gallon for every $100 spent in store with your fresh rewards card! (some restrictions apply. see stores for details)

Never pay full price for gas again! It's simple...

Shop at Lowes Foods using your fresh rewards card.

Pump fuel at Lowes Foods fuel stations or any participating WilcoHess location. Simply scan your Lowes Foods fresh rewards card at the
pump to redeem your fuel rewards.

Save 5 cent per gallon for every $100 you spend in store at Lowes Foods!

The more you shop, the more you save!

    When you spend-

    $100.00 you'll save 5 cents per gallon

    $200.00 you'll save 10 cents per gallon

    $300.00 you'll save 15 cents per gallon

All eligible purchases count toward your next Fuel Reward. For example, if you spend $40 today and $60 next week, you will receive a fuel reward.

Save even more! Earn fuel rewards on gift card purchases! You're already going shopping. Now you can save on gas every time you do it!

Saving more with Lowes Foods makes your day!

Fuel rewards expire 30 days from date of issuance and each Fuel Rewards is valid for one fill-up of up to 25 gallons of fuel, subject to credit card transaction value restrictions. Fuel rewards will not be available on newly issued fresh rewards cards for 24 hours after receipt of the card. Fuel rewards are earned for purchases made at all Lowes Foods locations. Spending excludes beer, wine, taxes, lottery and Lowes Foods gift cards.

Am I missing something? This doesn't sound like such a great program. If I understand correctly for every $100 you spend you could save a total of $1 at the pump assuming you put 20 gallons in your car. That is only 1% back! If there isn't a gas station right on your route, you will use that $1 just in extra gas!

Exactly. Fuel rewards don't impress me. A little math and logic and you're left wondering if they think you're stupid or something.

I got a fuel reward the other day and even though it said .05/gallon, it gave me .10/gallon. So I did save 1.91 on that day, which was nice.

It worked out for me, only because the LF gas station happened to be right there, and the price per gallon was the lowest in the area, but this 1% reward won't even begin to touch my shopping habits.

I guess they count on the mindset of people who are concerned about the price of gas and don't think rationally about what .05/gallon really amounts to. (hint: hill of beans)

I think this program works the same as Krogers, the $100 is before coupons. They give you a little slip every time you check out. I earned $0.10 for September and I definately did not spend $200 OOP at LF, probably not even $100. My Dh used it bec he was right there, needed gas and the price was lower than the other station on the block.

I saved $0.10 at the Shell station who partners with Kroger this morning. Again I definately did not spend $100 OOP to earn it.

I agree its definately not an incentive for me to spend more. If Im buying the groceries anyway and the gas station is conveniently located (in our case both Kroger/Shell and LF are), I'll take it!

I concur. DH used the gas rewards I got after shopping this past week (crabmeat, ice cream & produce). The gas is cheaper there right now than the gas stations and it's near DS's school. Once we move it will be 2 minutes from the house so we will be buying all the gas there probably.

Someone mentioned somewhere that the fuel rewards are earned on your pre-coupon dollars, but that's not the way it's working out for me
I'm getting rewards on oop, which means I get a measly 10-15 points per week.
Is this the way it is for others?

Something weird is going on for sure. I had 5 cents off a gallon and then it just disappeared? I only had to spend a little more to get 10 cents off a gallon. Very disappointing.
