I was surprised to learn that TLC must get approval for taping an "Extreme Couponers" show and they also disclose all coupons that the "couponer" intends to use as well as the quantities he/she intends to buy. This is done and approved through corporate. No decisions are made at the store level, at least in this case. They even had a designated cashier for 6hrs just for this customer.
I don't understand why LF (corporate) would make such exceptions to their coupon policy in exchange for such negative publicity.
