Yeah and all stores included please-lol!!!
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it
.
I remember last year, May I believe it was, mid week Lowes Foods decided to run a 4 day coupon event as HT was going to have SD's the following Wed - I thought I would collapse after 10 straight days of SD's between the two stores
And the strange thing was, Lowes Foods had not done a special coupon event for 8 years prior!
And they haven't done another since.
Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??
Saving money ~ it's a way of life, not an attitude
LF did it (triples) a few weekends (started on Saturdays) in the Charlotte area last year right before SD but it was only the Charlotte area. Guess they weren't that profitable because they stopped doing it.

A Lowes employee told me there were at least two issues.
1. Someone had coupons and got about 60 jars of mayonnaise for free.
Abuse of the system.
(They could have at least gotten an item that won't kill their whole family from botulism - mayonnaise must be one of the worst stock pilers - maybe they were selling them at their yard sales)
IDIOT who cost us Lowes Triples
2. Someone had pieces of paper cut out the size of a coupon and used those in the self chekcout line to fool the machine into thinking a coupon was dropped on the slot.
Again, abuse of the system.
Another "idiot" that cost us our beloved Lowes Triples. Gone forever.
As you may know, coupons are no longer accepted in the self checkout lane.
It took too many employess to keep track of the scammers.
Not worth it to them. Maybe they'll some day, have Triples for one day, like Bloom has SD's one day a month.![]()
Those things couldn't have killed triples.
Neither of those examples directly result from tripling coupons as opposed to doubling.
Someone could buy 60 mayo if a good coupon makes it free any day.
If someone did get 60 jars of mayo, and that caused a problem with a store, then it was a store management issue. For one thing, they take only 4 like coupons per transaction. Someone would have had to make 15 trips to make that work.
Secondly, if they were aware that one person was buying 60 of anything, the store manager had every right to limit a quantity.
As for the scanners, that's an issue they've had to deal with, triples or no triples. That was fraud waiting to happen. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a little piece of paper would work, all it took was some dishonest person observing a cashier troubleshooting a coupon issue by sticking a paper into the machine right in front of the customer.
I don't know why HT is successful with the super coupon events, and LF is not. They are so similar in so many ways. Who knows.
