if you have a card already you can upgrade online for deals by e-mail.
I went to the Lowes webpage and on the left was signup for fresh rewards. The next page asked if I wanted to upgrade and it wanted my current lowes food rewards card number, and then to verify my contact info. I then clicked "continue" and the next page asked for my NEW fresh rewards card number. Ugh, I thought the process I was doing was upgrading my existing card and I'd get the new one in the mail, etc.
Or maybe a form to print and fill out and take to my store.
Why are they asking for the number when I have no card?
I thought that is what upgrade meant, convert old card rewards card to the new card. :shrug7:
I now see you have to have a card to upgrade online, so upgrading gets you to a page where you enter your e-mail address if you want special deals sent to you.

Yeah, you have to go to the store to get the new card, then do all that stuff online. It's easy though. Takes all of 2 minutes.

The "card" situation at Lowes is a royal pain. I don't know why they feel the need to change their cards so often. Every time I go to Lowes, I have some kind of problem with their card at the checkout. Never a problem with anyone's else's card! That is the main reason I don't go to Lowes very often (they are also expensive)....looks like I have another problem the next time I go.
