Boring and to think my HT is worried about the new LF that they are building near the store. At this rate they don't have to worry about losing my business. HT sales have been much better.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.

LF's everyday prices are much lower than HT...I'd say at least 15% on average (with the exception of the meat dept.) Sale prices on the other hand, not so much. We never set foot in HT unless they are having triples or super doubles. I'm one of those customers that they hate seeing come through the door. You know, the one that gets the "loss leaders" and nothing else. The one that never spends more than $5 at a time. They are way too expensive for anything else. On the other hand, we hit LF at least once a week, if not multiple times.

Plus, the weekly $5/$25 instasave helps very much!

Where do you get the $5/$25? I try to check instasave daily because I have noticed sometimes there is one thing one day and it is gone the next, but I have never seen any $/$$!

For me, some items are cheaper at LF compared to HT, but others are not, the same with LF...I think here that the prices are all jacked up compared to the rest of the state. I was up in Jefferson NC yesterday and a gallon of milk at FL (Yes Food Lion) was $2.29 a gallon! Here it is $2.99 at Food Lion.

I'm thinking the Hormel Black Label Ham that is $3.99 is not too shabby of a deal. I believe its 3 pounds and they'll slice it for free. That works out to $1.33/lb for deli ham.
