Lowes has their Martha White Muffin Mix priced at .89 for the muffins or .50 for the corn muffin mix. There were some blinkies for these awhile back that are .55/2. That makes it FREE for the corn muffin mix (or money maker, however I can't seem to figure out how to get overage there)or .68 for two packages of muffins!

Thanks! I've been saving my last few blinkies in hopes of a freebie deal at one of Harris Teeter's triples, but they never do put the darn things on sale. Does Lowes' price cut on them end today, anybody know? Would be great if it continues, so we can check prices when HT starts triples again tomorrow!

To get overage - just scan your coupons before you scan your Rewards card! Coupons will come off the full retail price, doubling and all, before the sale price discount gets applied. Then be prepared to grab some bananas or something to keep from going negative before you try to pay. Always works for me.

Tip on these muffins. I bake them all the time. I have a daughter in college and milk is a real treat for them so one day she didnt have milk and just used 1/2 cup of water and said they were great. Being the pesimist that I am, I didnt believe her. The other week I did not have milk and decided to use the water too. Unbelieveabley so, the muffins were more moist with the water than the milk. And who says mom always knows best?
