At Food Lion I found a blinkie for $0.55/1 Dixie Crystals Product. My LF has the small 2lb bags of sugar for $1.29 so that makes it $0.19 for 2lbs of sugar!
Lowes Foods to Go is showing that the 5lb bags are 1.99 so it would be .89 for 5lbs, but I think the smaller bags still end up being a better deal.
I grabbed these blinkies a couple of weeks ago hoping they would come in handy :)
ETA: I forgot to check the brown sugar prices, but I know they would be free at HT so they would probably be free at LF too!

I think it depends on the cashier. Usually blinkies, printables, inserts, etc... will double with no problem as long as they have the correct starting number.
heres a interesting thing i found last week.. mostly all blinkies say dnd.. butthe ones in for example foodlion, where they do not double start with a 5..
the ones in harris teeter or bilo start with a 9.. even stores within 1 mile of each other..
they all get the same coupons just some with 9 and others with 5s...

The blinkies at Food Lion all start with "5" and yes they will double if they say DND - the register automatically doubles them. So get your blinkies at Food Lion and use them at Harris Teeter and Lowes.

Also blinkies at Kroger will also usually have a 5 as well, so that is another place to get them in addition to Food Lion. Don't forget, sometimes, CVS and Walgreens has blinkies too.
Someone was kind enough to take every blinkie in the machine at the Food Lion I went to today. Gotta love it!
I'm sorry to hear that. Is there another store near you? It seems there is one on every corner here. Our small town alone has 2. Good luck finding them!
