HAPPY DANCE Food Lion: Ok, I like this week's ad!

I noted a couple things, but my favorite was the Lasagna Deal.

Buy a 57 ounce Stouffer's Lasagna for $8.99 and get a Cole's Mini Garlic Bread Loaf, 2L of Food Lion Soda and a 1lb Dole Classic Iceburg Lettuce free. Now that is cool! Too bad my peelies expired last month.

Other deals I liked:
80% Ground Beef $1.99/lb
Hormel Bacon B1G1 (maybe the 50¢/1 Black Label Bacon Q will work)
L'oreal Kids Shampoo 2/$5 (with 75¢/1 Q, makes it $1 per bottle)
Cottonelle 12-roll Package B1G1 (making it $3.97 - $4.97 depending on your Q)

From the picture in the online ad it looks like it is the black label. I hope - I love the black label bacon. I'm going in this morning, so I'll post when I get back, if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Thanks - I missed that one.

I think we might be having lasagna for dinner. We usually get the big big one and have leftovers, but I think if they throw in all the sides then the small one will do.

The Hormel Black Label bacon is BOGO, $4.99 for 2. One is $2.50 minus 50¢ coupon doubled is $1.50 a pack. Good deal!

Thank you! They had this deal about a month or so ago I think (my memory is going at age 37 - I tell myself it is because of the kids) and I only got a couple of packages. This is really good bacon so I'm stocking up this time.

The peelies would just have given you more of a discount.

I went the other day to get lasagna to make for dinner and they were sold out. i asked if i could substitute and they said they could give me a rain check. I'm thinking "well that doesn't help with dinner tonite". Finally the girl went and asked and she said they could subsitute the Chicken Parm and just have to manually subtract the other stuff. I was ok with that.

Got home and there was a $1/1 inside Now I can go get another one YAY!

That is great. I'm glad they have good CS and did a subsitution. There is nothing worse than shopping and having to decide on dinner on the fly (especially if you are shopping with kids!)
