Since my relative don't read HCW, I can dish about my X-mas shopping deals.
Dad: Bought him a pitcher and Olive Tray from One Kings Lane. Used $15 credit and coupon code. Paid only $11.00 (shipping). Saved $38.00
Mom: Found the series of WWII shows she likes at Dollar Tree, with the Best Buy tags still attached! Also Found her two western movie DVD's there, also with tags. Paid $5.00. Saved $35.00 (based on Best Buy price tags)
Mom and Dad (and the IL's too) got them photo books of Little Man on a photo website (can't remember which). They were BOGO, and I had a sign up credit. Paid only shipping $15.00. Saved $40.00
Brother: Mexican wrestler masks (LOL- I know!) $2.00/each. On sale from $8.00/each. Also made him lunch bags and a grilling apron from fabric in my stash. Fabric was free- it was given to me by a family friend who thought that all sewers are quilters.
SIL: Family Binder (Free- had supplies on hand), candle (GWP from One Kings Lane), Socks (Free from Forever 21 with GC I got at Grand Opening).
MIL: Thirty-One sack filled with freebies I received this year (I save all my freebies and samples), silk scarf I got at 99 cents only. Thirty-One sack bought with credit from being a party hostess. Total OOP: $.99
SIL: Same as MIL (but no scarf) and family binder (free- had supplies on hand). Also a box of thank you and blank cards (she's getting married next year). $4.00 for the cards. I bought them at Dollar Tree and made the cute little box to put them in.
SIL's Fiance: Dress shirt and tie from JCP: $9.97. Tie and shirt were both on mega-clearance for black Friday. Safety Razor and razor refills. Going to buy on buy.com for $14.00. Will get free shipping and My Points points.
MIL & FIL: Wine aerator and stand from Bed bath and beyond. $69.99 (cheapest place to buy it- I looked all over for a week!). Went through My Points and got free shipping and free gift wrap! Paid with Am Ex, got a $15.00 bill credit, and I'll submit receipt to Endorse.com
FIL: Oscar De La Renta Sweater that retails for $70.00. I got it for $7.99 at a local discount retailer.
DH: Dress shirt and two pairs of socks from Kohl's for $13.00. Saved $46.00 with sales and coupons (shirt was only $3!) "texting" gloves from Forever 21 (free with grand opening GC), 2 body washes and shave cream from B&BW (I had a coupon!): OOP $10.00
DS: Toys from TRU. Went through My Points and got free shipping! Paid with Am Ex, got a $15.00 bill credit, and I'll submit receipt to Endorse.com. A few outfits for $3.00/each at a local discount retailer. Total OOP: $25.00
Secret Santa for DH's office: B&BW goodies. I had a coupon, and I'll submit receipt to Endorse.com. OOP: $12.00
Secret Santa for a party I'm attending with my GF's: Custom made outfit and purse for friend. Made with fabric and trim from my stash. OOP: $0.00
I have a few little things to get DH and DS for their stockings, but other than that, I'm done.
I bought all of the gift bags and tissue paper at 99 cents only for less than $10.00!
DH is going spend about $50.00 on my gifts. I hope he buys me new bras!
