food 4 less brag

I just got home from going to food 4 less. I bought 31 packs of farmer johns hot dogs. I paid $2.18 oop total.

The hot dogs retail for $3.18ea.. But the week before last they were on sale for for $0.98ea and that sunday a coupon came out here in s. cal for $1/1.. I just happen to get 15 newspapers that week.. When i went to go get my 15 packs (for free) they were out . So i got 2 rain checks for 15 each.. knowing some way i would get 15 more coupons.. Thru a couple ways i ended up getting 16 more coupons .

I went there to night and got 31 (30 for free and 1 for 2.18)

total retail was - $98.58
total oop was - $2.18
total savings was - $96.40 (98%)

They are all going to my kid's daycare, but i am still very proud of my self .
