Also, this is a PG product so you can only use 4 like coupons in one transaction.

The use of the coupon in the manner you used it is questionable so I do not recommend that others go out and do it since it may not be meant for the bonus packs regardless of it not beeping. The value of the coupon is quite high for a box of toothpaste and does not go along with the usual values put out by PG for toothpaste which leads me to believe it is for the whitestrips.

I think you did awesome! Don't be embarrassed about clearing the shelf, sometimes it's just necessary. Who could pass up a $4 overage from just buying a tube of toothpaste? Not me!

I agree..You will use that stuff..It's the midnight raiders that get me..I finally planned to get up and go to my local 24 hour CVS and do the deals at midnight ,one Sunday last year. I wanted to try that, as it seemed most of the stock was gone by the time I got there at 7! I found the place loaded with folks and overheard a few " gentlemen with accents" discussing the "turnaround price" they would be earning on ebay for the Colgate White Strips!!!!!!! Now isn't that illegal???? I only did that once and now I go to a 7-11 CVS and do my deals!!! ( For my sanity!)Oh ya...thats when I learned about rainchecks!

WOW! That was a great trip! I think there is a point when everyone will eventually clear a shelf. If its not something that you do all of the time I wouldn't worry about it. There are some people that clear shelves every time they go shopping. Anyway, I am so impressed by your shopping trip! I hope I can find some deals like that one day!
