Way to go!! You did very well. Especially keeping in mind that Groceries are often harder to coupon than non grocery items.
Your link worked perfectly!
The only feedback I can offer is this.
If you can find a Item you use often and you can get it for 75% off or more buy as much as you can use within a few months. Say you normally would buy 4 boxes of pasta at $4 and you can now get them for $1 , then I recommend you buy 16 or as many as you have coupons for minimum! This way the next week you go shopping you no longer need to buy those items and you can wait till you see them at your Rock bottom prices. You are still spending the same amount you would have, but you are stock piling the extras, and thats where you truly save money.
Also if a Item is not on sale and you have a coupon, its usually better to save the coupon untill you see a sale. If you need to you can buy one now while its slightly cheaper to hold you until you see the sale happen.
Buying during sales with a coupon saves you more because of this scenario.
Soup is $1.19 each.
You have coupons for $1/3 so your after coupon price is .85. That's not bad per say, but what if you waited till it was on sale.
$1.19 regular price, now on Sale for .79 , you have the same $1/3 coupon. So you buy 3 at .45 cents each! You can often get soups even cheaper than that, this was just a example.
Combining the sales with the coupons is what takes you from 30-50% savings into 65-90% savings. You are off to a awesome start though, and I see in your pictures you are building a nice stockpile! WTG! Good luck and happy couponing!
My Wish List
I do not use Pay Pal. I can double only below $.49 but can not use Printables for doubling. Always in need of Coke , Gatorade and Powerade coupons.
