Crazy couponing saves single mom!

Sadly, this year went from a 2-person paycheck home to under-employed single mom. Our TV was on its last legs (shrinking screen, lines through picture) and ds worried about no TV/video/football watching, etc. So, beyond what I deserve, God was smiling down at me to help work this out because electronics are so expensive. First, I had 2 Entertainment Books I bought through a rebate site for about $7.50 oop each. In them each were six $5 off $50 coupons to the food store I shop. Last week, that store had a catalina deal where, with a $100 gift card purchase, you got a store coupon for $20. So, this is what I did. I bought 10 grocery store gift cards, $50 value, for $45 each with $5 coupon. Then, bought 5 gift cards in separate transactions to the electronics store that had a 43 inch plasma TV on sale for $500 (was $659), and got back in 5 coupons ($20) for groceries. Bought the TV, got a $50 store gift card back with coupon code from the electronics store. Then, the grocery store had a promotion this week where when you spend $50 on qualified items, you get an extra $10 off! They also had a ConAgra deal with $10 back for $25 purchase. So, long story short, for about $500 (a big stretch as far as finances, but best deal I could find) and a lot of shopping at several stores, got 43" plasma TV, $50 electronics store gift card, $200 worth of groceries ($100 stock pile, $100 regular shopping list), and $30 left in coupons ($20 and $10 catalinas) for next shopping trip. My head is spinning, but am grateful. Now, just need to find a 0% interest credit card to transfer the balance!
