Shopping in St. Louis today

I had dinner at my MIL's today, so I told DH we should go shopping after dinner and take advantage of coupons/sales/prices in MO, hee hee.

I did a giftcard deal at Shop n' Save the other day (buy $100 in giftcards, get $20 OYNO coupon), so I had that to spend.

My ds is going to a summer daycamp the whole month of June, and he has to take a sack lunch. I wanted to buy lunch items and take advantage of the $2 off produce coupon.

I bought:
2 pkgs OM turkey shaved turkey
2 avocados
3 bags salad
1 small box strawberries
1 bunch celery
2 bags baby carrots
2 bags pretzels
1 pkg chocolate pudding
1 jar sunflower seeds
2 bunches of bananas
1pkg SNS sliced cheese
6 Fuji apples
1 bag green grapes

I used the $20 OYNO catalina, .55/1 OM qs, $1/2 Rold Gold pretzels q, (6) $2 off produce winetag (NBPR in MO!), and one .55 off avocados q. Total was over $43. I paid $9.18 oop.

Went to the BP gas station, and used a $25 BP gas card (one of the giftcards I bought the other day in the giftcard deal). We used up the gas card, and paid eighteen cents less per gallon than we do in IL.

It was a good day.

Does shop and save do the gift card deal often?

I don't know. I think the giftcard is still going on this week.

a select few stores is doing the giftcard onyo. shop n save still has it going on today. but i think it ends next week?
