night time savings

Hello everyone! This is my first post and I've only been couponing for a few weeks now. DH have to leave for work the next day and won't be back til the following week so I ask him to take me to the store to shop for the good sale(cause I dont want to miss the sale and I cant go anywhere w/o him cause I dont drive yet). I bribed him that I will give him a massage after we get back from shopping.

Went first to biggs and got 27 items,retail=54$, after coupons=25$
Next stop was krogers and got a few items and saved 65%. Not as best as others but DH is really picky so I can't just get things that I have coupons for because i will end up using all of it. But still, I feel good with the savings.
