Nice job on the savings so far!

I really like your spreadsheet, but I think you might want to check your last set of columns - according to the heading, it is money saved, but the line items equal your OOP before taxes. The formula in the total should be rechecked also (anal retentive accountant here!).

Taking the time to track the numbers really helps you visualize the big picture and the impact of "strategic shopping" and Q'ing.. We have changed some of our habits as a result of this kind of analysis (for the better!).

Like you, I start with shelf price (before in store sale). I separately track total Q's at face value, total amount of doubled Q's, Net OOP, $ savings and % savings.
