I love, LOVE our 99 cents stores here!!

Today, i stocked up on about 12 bottles of Tums (same as pepcid ac.. just found that out.., lol)..
Each bottle had 50 berry chews.. normally.. hmm say 4 to 5 bucks.. plus
(pepcid AC.. runs about 10 bucks a bottle.. faint!)....
so I saved at least..50 bucks.. on that~

I also found 2 lb epsom salt baths.. for 99.. a savings of 2-3 dollars each..
great, for soaking muscles.. got about 5 / 7 of those.

Hot Chocolate.. 6 pks

They also have cheeto's, fritos.. tons of candy ( i try not to get those.. try.. lol).. Huge bags of Q tips, cotton balls..

Sometimes, some major name brand makeup..

ohh and Propel for 79 cents~ and tuna.. 79 cents

Good Deals and Finds. I dont have any of those stores around here and even the $1 stores we have dont accept coupons and carry the small version of evertthing I can get from the store for the exact same price after coupons so I rarely ever go there.

Ditto to that. I like checking out Big Lots because they have interesting things. But they don't take coupons!

i love my 99 cents only store! ccant live wout it!!! my 2 got to dollar stores r 99 only and dollar tree. love 2 check out their seasonal section 2 see what new cute deco thay have! i love buying my laundry detergent fromk the 99 store! i buy 5-6 every time i go. I like the blue and the green bottle, it really works! i only splurge on the fabric softener! it really has saved me lots of money! and i love to buy the 3 heads of romain lettuce and eggs at the 99 store! very lucky to have 99 store near me! and i love to buy baby wipes from there! they are made in u.s.a. which i rare these days and they r wonderful quality!!!!

For pepcid AC the best price is generic...unless your finding it free. I usually would go to costco or sam's club and get it there...which often was months supply for a few dollars. If I didn't have a card I would get it in the bottle form at Walmart...again generic.

Tums and pepcid ac are very different. Tums is just an antacid...it only neutralizes the acid that it touches at that very moment. Pepcid AC is a hystamine blocker...it lessens the amount of Acid you have in your stomach...it works for a good 12 - 24 hours.

hi cori, i thought tums and pepcid ac were very different too.
I was paying a fortune for pepcid.. don't know if they changed it or what..but the ingredients, on the tums, i just bought, are the exact same, as on the pepcid ac.. just went and checked:
famotidine~10 mg
calcium carbonate~800 mg
magnesium hydroxide~165.

So maybe the new ones out..are different .. thats why i stocked up!! lol

amylynne, the 99 cents here, don't take Q's either, but i dont' care, bc the prices are sooo Fantastic and you never know what you're going to find!!
I found HIP makeup.. which is great stuff, sells for 10 bucks, in the drugstores.., at 99.. for 99 cents~ and i stocked!! lol

hi munchie.. lets keep each other posted, w/ deals , we find there~ i admit, i'm kinda scared to try the produce, but we have great name brands there, guys.. it really Rocks!
I think about moving and i'm like but.. there's noo 99 cents stores, in nc..

well maybe they made a new tums......hmmmmmm....

I think what the stores have..well walmart and sam's club is 20mg...which is stronger and IMO better.

I took pepcid prescription...40 mg twice a day...for about 9 years...and eventually it was cheaper to just buy the AC then get the prescription...but OTC you can only find 20 mg..so I would take 2 in the morning and 2 at night. Now I'm on a PPI as those are even stronger than the h2 blockers.

If you can...find a way to sam's or costco...if you don't have a card...see if a friend does...it's so much cheaper there and you'll get months supply...instead of just a month or so.

I love 99 cents only!

They don't accept coupons, but I don't care! I buy Dole bagged salads, organic spinach, bunny luv baby carrots, Dole bananas, and all kinds of other produce. They also have lean cuisines (WOO HOO!), and pillsbury crescent rolls.

I buy stuff that 99 cents only that I can't find anywhere else cheaper. Bagged salad runs $3-5/bag in so cal and there are never any coupons.

They also have really great bagels (western bakery- yum!).

And- non food related- they have great socks for stocking stuffers!

I don't care for dollar tree- most of their stuff is their brand. 99 cents only is like a 5 and dime with a tiny grocery section.

I totally love my .99 cent store. I bought 25 16oz softsoap body wash this week.
also just bought vive shampoo for .99 cents love my .99 store.
