2nd post....first OMG! this is so cool!! post

So I've been puttering and reading around on here for a few days. A friend of mine lured me into couponing with her amazing skills at it (I hope to shop like her very soon!)
Anyway, so this past sunday I grabbed several newspapers and a good friend that I'm pulling into couponing with me and we started cutting away. Already knowing about having to organize all our coupons, I already had a binder, dividers and card sleeves ready. We spent the better part of a day clipping coupons and searching web sites for more coupons.

Well fast forward to Tuesday - we wanted to get a shopping trip in before the weekly ad changed for Albertsons. So with having a couple of "deals" put together we gathered our binder, our ad and headed to the store. While going through the store I collected blinkies and tear offs while we checked over the sale items to see if we wanted to add more to our trip.....and of course we found things.

I almost went into shock when I saw how much we saved.
So here's what we bought:
-2 packages boneless country style pork ribs @ $0.99 lb reg price $2.99 lb
-1 lemon garlic pork loin that had a $3.00 off manager coupon, also had a $1 off coupon
-Yoplait yogurt (6) reg. price $0.69 on sale w/store coupon at $0.39, also had a MC for $0.50 off 6
-Arrowhead 6pk water reg. price $2.79 on sale 10 for $10, also had a B2G1
-Ziploc freezer bags reg. price $2.59 on sale for $1.99, also had MC for $0.55 off
-scotch brite pads B1G1 at $2.99
-JD bacon reg. price $3.99 on sale for $1.99
-Bar S hot dogs reg. price $2.29 on sale 10 for $10 we got 4 and had 4 B1G1 MC's
this one's my favorite.....
-Purex Liquid Laundry det. reg. price $7.99 on sale for $3.99
-Purex Complete 3 in 1 sheets reg. price $7.99 on sale for $5.99
we also had 4 B1G1 coupons for these so we got 6 detergents and 2 of the 3 in 1's (making each item $2.24!! :hectic1:)

We had a couple of other things that weren't on sale. But our OOP was $77.97 and our savings was $112.63!!!!

I think we did pretty good for our first time ever coupon shopping.
