I did it!! I did it!! 20 extra inserts!

I finally bit the bullet and asked the one gas station in our town what they do with their extra papers. They have to return the "City" paper intact, but the local only needs the strip along the top sooooo. Twenty extra inserts baby! They included papers I don't usually get so I got a bonus of the Q's I didn't think I would get this week(theraflu). I am pretty shy and usually really worried about what people will think, but I am working hard get past that to be a good example for my children. I thought this was a great lesson for them. They helped me pick the papers up this morning. I hope they remember.....It never hurts to ask!!! Thanks for letting me share, beyond my husband there are very few people who would understand how exciting this is. I am super stoked for the Contour Q's next week

congrats--that is soooo exciting. I don't get any extra and our papers are $2 each so I only get one. Great score on the Contour, too. Everyone here definitely can understand the happy dance you must have done--and will be doing each week.

I must get the same paper as Castingbread and I only get one too! You are so lucky, I am not sure what I would do if I had 20 inserts! Congrats on breaking out of your shell.

UPDATE!!!! I got 40 inserts this week and 34 of them have the Contour Q!!!!!!!

Yeah good job
I get all my extra inserts from the recycle center try telling that one to people there is a recycle bin that holds all paper and the owners let me pick though the papers and take all the inserts I want but I do get embarrassed because it's a small town and I worry some one will think I am literally picking the trash lol. (there is only paper no yucky stuff.)
It always great to have extra coupons helps with the stock piling.

Wow, that is really Great!!! I am going to go to the gas station down the street tomorrow morning and ask there. I am only half shy (LOL) and ask them. It's a pretty busy station, but you never know. Like it was said, it never hurts to ask.
