I really needed to hear these stories today. I can't stop laughing. The dreams, log man, leaving your husband because he won't coupon, chatting and grabbing blinkies... oh my gosh, this is the best!

I can't even get my husband to go to the store. He loves that I save money and pretends to get excited with my savings, but he'd never be seen within 10 feet of "the binder".

My husband likes that I coupon but he would prefer not to hear about it! ALthough he brags at work to this lady that works in his building . she taught a coupon class i went to. He is always in their bragging to her lmao. She gives him MIR and coupons and he brings them to me. One night after he had 24 hr duty he came home with a bunch of paraglides wich had coupns in them! Something I wasnt expecting! usually im the one that goes to the store etc. Everytime i drag him with me he puts in non coupon stuff and makes the total go up! He saw my magic at cvs once. over $20 of stuff for tax only! Then the lady was like wow you mus tknow what your doing, I was like well yeah took me about an hr or so to figure it out.
I dont think the hubby has ever touched THE BINDER. His dad is more into the coupon thing. He will bring me coupons or ask for deals.

I knew DH got it when he started asking me if I had any coupons for XYZ before he bought it. If I didn't have it, he would ask if we could get it? LOL! Plus his mouth hit the floor one day when I came back to the car with 4 bags of CVS stuff that I paid $2 for.

I knew my hubby got it when he - a rabid Facebook hater - signed up for FB just so he could take advantage of great FB coupons! Now he tells me that if there is a good Q to print, email it to him and he'll print it from his 'puter, too - meaning that between all the computers in the house, we can get 6 coupons!
He can be a butt and laugh about where we are gonna put stuff when I get back from the grocery store, but he totally understands!

AmyKay - FB, ya, I understand his problem with it but like him, I too avoided it like the plague until I wanted to 'like' various pages for coupons

So I resolved the issue by signing up under my maiden name and only use it for coupon purposes

my dh definately gets it now. It took awhile though. He goes to the dollar general store around the corner several times a week. The lady always asks for his coupons :)

My boyfriend has always "gotten" it. But it's so cute to see how excited he gets when we're at the store and the total goes down over 50%. Sometimes, if I don't have a lot of coupons with me/I don't have deals planned out and the total is more than like $15, he like makes sure that I've given the cashier all the coupons because he's in denial that we have to pay more than like $10 for $50 worth of stuff lol.

When I have an exciting shopping trip my husband will carry everything in. He'll go wait in another room until I have everything out of the bags and on the counter, call him back in, show him the items and receipt, and he gives me a good job! Lol.

I've been stuffing my purchases in the laundry closet for the last few weeks.. it's kinda piled up. I took advantage of the past few laundry deals. My husband was staring at the pile last night and said, "Baby, I love you save us money. But PLEASE don't buy any more detergent."
