I've been banned from grocery shopping

With all the good FLIPs at Food Lion the last several weeks and then hitting Harris Teeter's triple coupons for seven trips . . . my husband has FORBIDDEN me to go grocery shopping for several weeks!

It seems that somehow, I've managed to fill up a chest freezer, an upright freezer, both fridge-freezers, both fridges, and the huge pantry he just built me a few months ago!

He doesn't understand that he has nothing to worry about - I ran out of coupons!

I just had to share this with the wonderful people who post the deals. Thank you all for the time you spend posting up the sales and match-ups. This board and its members are terrific!

Let me swipe hubby's camera - it will just be the entire pantry and freezer - I don't remember what I got where anymore - it's been a blur.

That is too funny! My DH is the same way!

We had a knock-down-drag-out discussion about the ironing board (of course it wasn't really about the ironing board, but that is what he was focusing on). I moved it out of the pantry where we have stored it for years and into his closet since he is the only one who irons. Moving that and some other things allowed me to put a whole new shelf in the pantry along the skinny wall. We literally had a heated discussion about the new shelf and the fact that the ironing board has "always" been in the pantry. Heaven forbid, I change anything or buy and more groceries.

btw....this is the same man that says things like "if you find a good deal on tuna fish, buy a bunch" and the like. Too funny!

This is too funny! I have gotten so many pizza rolls at triples and we have no and I mean no freezer room. So I have some of them in the refrigator and dh says I don't know where in the world you are going to put anything else. Ummm......clean out the closet in the bedroom!

Hmm......Banned from shopping. Interesting idea. I couldn't do that tho, I love the deals as much as my GF does.
