carpet cleaning contest

I dont remember when I put my name in the little box they had for the contest, but they just called and I actually won something they told me I won a free carpet cleaning! I didnt think I would win. so next Sunday at 10am they are coming to clean my carpets!

Who called about the contest? I am only asking because I used to work for Kirby and when we called people, we told them that they won a free carpet cleaning when we were actually going to their house to try to sell them a vacuum.

not quite sure but I will tell them before they step in my door that if they are trying to sell me anything turn around lol but if your here for my dirty carpets by all means come on in LOL

I would call your local store and see if there really is such a promotion. I'm sure promotions could very by reigon but in 8 years working at biglots, I have never seen that kind of promotion. The majority of promotions are being done through the buzz club via email (and there are pilot promotions that are only good at a few stores). I have never heard of them calling on a promotion either. It sounds like you were cold called and they are probably going to try and sell you something. The local store manager should be able to refer it to the district manager who if nesasary can refer it to the regional manager to find out if its legit.
