Default thinking about buying a freezer

okay since my 40 boxes of eggos have filled my freezer in both my fridges, I think I am in the market for a stand alone freezer. I don't need a huge one since we don't eat tons of meat, but I don't want a tiny one either.

can someone help me find one at a good price? I would like one 7-15 cubic feet and not more than $200.

TIA

We are looking into buying a freezer too. My DH said Walmart has a 7 cubic feet one for under $200.

I would check for scratch and dent models at Lowes, HD, Sears...lots of places have a scratch and dent section...some ship everything to one location for the region and have a scratch and dent wharehouse.

I am going to buy a freezer this weekend and did my homework. Lowes has the best deal in my neck of the woods.

Gonna use my lowes card to get the fridgedaire (sp) 20cft freezer, normally $549, but he's going to give me 10% off for using the lowes card (not an advertised offer, you have to ask) and then 0 interest/payments for 6 months, plus I have a $10 off 50 coupon, so gonna get this for less than $500 when all is said and done.

pricematch pricematch pricematch - remember, lowes will meet and beat by 10%.

I'm thinking of the same thing except I have to find another place to put my stockpile to make room for a new freezer.

I found a GE at Home Depot and the same one at Best Buy. It is $10 more at Best Buy. Do they have a low price guarantee too? If so what is it?

They also have the meet and beat policy, so if the cheaper one is $500 for example, then they will also take 10% off, making it $450 for final price!

I want to buy a freezer too, but I am worried about the delivery cost. I don't think the freezer can fit in my corolla? Will the delivery be very expensive?

You may want to think about watching the classified section of your paper, that is if you have a way to pick one up. We needed a new one a couple of years ago and I started watching the Sunday paper, found one, sounded good, called and it was in perfect condition & frost free. We picked it up and paid $175 for, no regrets.
