Roll call for Longs Drugs!!

I live in Marysville, CA. I really like the people at the pharmacy people. I don't like that they are not clear on the use of Q and store Q. One month they say it is okay to use together and the next they say no way. This has happened to me for times.

I have not been shopping there as often as I had in the past because of my bad coupon experiences with a couple of their clerks. Since then, I had spoken to the manager and he assured me that what I was doing was OK and to come to him whenever there is a problem.

I was also told that there is no expiration date on rainchecks but that may be YMMV.

My Longs in Torrance, CA started saying the $5 off $25 ent coupon is only good AFTER mfc:(

I shop at longs as well. I live in a pretty small town in CA and we have 2 Longs now with a 3rd on the way. I would love to see more money making deals and topics on Longs. I have been able to find some pretty good deals at Longs as well.

I shop at Long's in the Sacramento area. They have some great sales. I have gotten good deals on deodorant, cereal, shampoo, and toothpaste. And if I need to get extra Sunday papers I like that they are $.99. Also there are quite a few locations near me. I am excited to learn that they have coupons in the Entertainment book!

The only negative is that their prices are pretty high if the item is NOT on sale.

I just discovered this forum yesterday, so I will keep an eye on it and post any good deals I come across.

I live in Little River, California, which is next to Mendocino...a tourist area. The nearest town is Fort Bragg and we only have a Longs, RiteAid and Safeway as far as chain stores. I have always tried to coupon and be frugal but I don't have much to work with here!! (We retired here 2 years ago.) The nearest bigger stores are a bumpy hour and a half drive away, and with the price of gas...not a frequent trip. SO...I would love to see some activity here from all of you couponing experts on how to do the best at Longs!

I just recently started printing online coupons and was told at Longs that they do not accept them. (Depends on the cashier...some maybe don't know!) I e-mailed the corporate office for a policy but have not gotten a response.

Anyone else know? And....I hope this part of the site gets more active so you can teach me!

Store: Merced California.
Favorite: New store near my home saves gas $$$.
Least Favorite: Don't like that not as much discussion on websites about Longs versus Walgreens or CVS.

My Longs is in Santa Clara. I like it because it is cleaner than the other stores aournd here and I find some good bargains. I don't like how they jack up the prices on other things to make up for the deals. Example: there was a great sale on cereal but the price of Mayo went up to $4.69 a jar!

HI all, I just recently started couponing and this week was my first Longs experience. I shop at the store in Chico, Ca. I am loving Longs way more than Walgreens right now.

I love that the rainchecks do not expire (got one for Huggies Wipes) and they have been really accepting of my coupons. They did make me seperate everything into seperate transactions because of the one per customer from the coupon book, but were very patient about it.

Right now my favorite deal is the Huggies Wipes, on sale this week for 1.99, end up being 0.49 after store and manu Q. I have 11 tubs and would have more but they ran out and gave me a raincheck for more.
