I shop at Longs in Reno. Used to live in the Bay Area (San Jose) and shopped there as well. I grew to love Longs since growing up in HI.

I also love that they have the 5/25 coupon in the Entertainment book. Pays for the book itself and then some

I just moved to Fallon, NV and we have a Long's here. I have just started shopping at Long's. It seems like a very nice store. We are from Ohio and my husband swears that Sinutab is the only thing that will cure him (this doesn't always help me in my coupon adventures, but he is my husband and I want him to feel better right? So I get him what he wants.) Anyway...I couldn't find it anywhere in town here at any of the drug stores..we have a Walgreen's and Wal-Mart too, and the Long's pharmacist orderest it for me. So I think they have great customer service. They have a few good special sales, but they seem like they only last 3 days. I understand that they do give "rain checks" which I thought was great...I didn't think many drug stores did that. I found out because they were out of the Van Camps pork & bean that were 3/.99 cents the other day...they offered to do the rain check...pretty nice. The refund program seems a little weak compared to Walgreen's though. Like I said, it is a nice clean store here in my town, the people a very friendly and I enjoy shopping there. As far as the deals, I am still learning about the company and if they really do have the best deals or not. If any one has any good information to share, please let me know...this will definately be one of the forums that I will be checking out becuase it is one of my local stores. Any other Long's store shoppers out that I can work with? Thank you!

Hi I shop in San Diego. We have many stores down here that I hit up. Just curious has anybody ever had the experience that if you use a in ad store coupon for rebates...they wont work? Let me know.

I wish I could help, but I just started shopping at Longs myself when I moved to Nevada. I haven't even sent in my first refund yet. I just started shopping there a few weeks ago. I wish I could help more. My guess would be that if it is their in store ad and their refund brochure that they would accept it. I would go for it. Is there something specifically that you found that the rest of us might want to take check out too? You might want to ask the check out clerks. They have always been very helpful here in Fallon. Getting rebates for items using in-store ads have worked for me in the past. They're pretty quick on sending out the refunds.

I use my $5/25 entertainments Q's often (I have 5 books).

My favorite deal was in January.. hot deal on Cottenelle 4 pack Mega roll for $1.88.

=$7.32 for 168 rolls of toilet paper (since Mega is 3x the single roll!)

What's your favorite thing about shopping at Longs Drugs? I love there clearance and they never hassle me about coupons!

What's your least favorite thing? There pharmacy makes me crazy, and there are two super crabby techs there...
