Thrifty Flushing

When DH suggested getting a bidet attachment to our toilet I laughed at him. Now, a couple years out, I'm thinking, dang he IS smart once in a while.

This is the one he bought.

While its not for everyone, I gotta tell you, DH could use a 4 pack of TP a week by HIMSELF!!! before we got the bidet. Now I'm happy to say, we use about a roll a week.

Don't think I don't have a TP stockpile, because I DO!,

Its just nice to NOT have to buy as much TP because DH likes the expensive super soft stuff that is not environmentally friendly and doesn't have great sales/coupons.

I was just laughing because as I was at the grocery store, I actually didn't HAVE to buy TP, but there was a decent deal and I could pick and choose.
I figure we've saved at least 100 a year on TP since he installed it.

Like I said, its not for everyone, but this $100 bidet has saved us a TON of money in toilet paper. Water is pretty cheap compared to TP and environmentally friendly!

Well I have another great way to save too! My 2 pom poms are nice and soft with their long beautiful hair Nah just kidding! That looks like a great idea indeed will have to consider it.

I thought about that stash of 'bounty extra soft' when I realized that my cottonelle was getting low.....

And I'm a fan of baby wipes too when there is a good deal!

I waited for walmart to remodel last week ....they had remodeling sale specials on overstock items.... charmin normally 4.- 1/2 price 2.- for 9 pk ! I think I have enough for the next year! well, you know yo will need it eventually...it's necessity... it was 1/2 price who can resist a sale like that??????

Yeah, I picked up the baby wipe habit in Iraq, and since I coupon I can keep it up. Way better than TP.

My puppy loves to drink out of the toilet. I'm sure he's stupid/smart enough to turn a bidet in to a water fountain.

That is exactly what i am afraid my SON would do. He already decided that he can use the toilet to slick his hair back sometimes.

I dont think i could deal with that. although my kids use up too much TP! HUbbys picky about his TP. But i can imagine my kids spraying there faces and using it as a water fountain! They aer crazy like that.
