I can no longer use hormonal bc, but when I was last on it, I used nuvaring. EASY to use, plus I got tons of samples from the nurse at my OB/GYN's office (just kept them in the fridge).
I had this done in Aug and it would have only cost $30 but unforunately I picked the wrong doctor who did not have the follow up facilities and his idiot office had no clue on how to handle filing *because I was the first of the previous 30 that wasn't on welfare*. I am fighting with the office and insurance company to pay for the followup and if I had it to do all over again, I would do it....just would have known to ask better questions and pick a better doctor to do it.
an iud. my insurance covered mine 100%. even if you have to pay for part of it over the course of 5-10 years depending on what you get and how long you leave it in, it's less expensive than the pill and condoms.
I am in the same boat. We use condoms too. I refuse to go on birth control for several personal reasons. We just buy "lots" of them on eBay, you get get 100 of them for like $10.
But lately I've found abstinence to be the answer LOL
