Can I use IP (internet printed) coupons at Kroger?
This answer is supposed to be YES, but some store managers still do not realize corporate has changed this policy. All Kroger in this region are supposed to accept IP coupons if they have a barcode and scan at the register.
The corporate policy has been changed slighty to not accept IP coupons for free items.

I just moved from Denton to the George Bush Turnpike & Preston Rd area. I went to 2 krogers and was told i could not use coupons for clearanced items. What is funny is that I had already successfully used some coupons in a prior trip in the same day. Later I was told no. In Denton I could use coupons on anything as long as it matched the item.

So...what is the Kroger policy about using coupons on clearanced items.


Also, I thought I would have to slug the rude cashier for talking down to me. HE forgot to void an item and I asked him to make the correction. He insisted he had voided the item and started talking down to me about look at how much cash I have in my hand and the cost of the voided item and the total cost. I politely pulled out a calculator and set out to explain using algebraic equations that he was incorrect. He slunk off with his calculator to another register and his answer was still wrong on the amount of money I was owed, but it was not worth anymore hassle. Why some men think women can't do math.

Where are some coupon friendly Krogers in the area?

NO q's on clearance item!?!? Never heard that one before!!
The only thing close to it is: No IP that make the items less than 50%. Good luck on finding a Kroger. I live in Grand Prairie and like my Kroger.

I live in Arlington,the Kroger off south cooper& green oaks is coupon friendly,or the one off little road & pleasent ridge.I have used reg coupon, or printable at both these store without any problems

Sorry you had that experience. My Krogers in Richardson/Garland 190-Jupiter and in Frisco (teel/main) have never given me any issues. hth!

The Kroger at Pleasant Ridge and Green Oaks in Arlington has recently started enforcing their "new" coupon rule where only the first one doubles or triples. The registers will only multiply the first coupon and the cashier will have to override 2nd and 3rd. And good luck with that. All registers now have an official printed placard stating this policy and supposedly it is a "corporate" policy, i.e. all Krogers around here.

I inquired at another Kroger (which also had these official placards) wand was told I could still use 3 there, that the Pleasant Ridge store "did its own thing". So who knows.

Add Clute/Lake Jackson store to the list of stores only doubling/tripling ONE like coupon.Discovered this the hard way today.

I have coupons that read "do not double" on the top. The coupons are for 40 cents and start with a "5". Will Kroger still double them?

Yes, as long as it doesn't start with a 9.

Does anyone know how you find the limit on e-coupons ( like Shortcuts or Cellfire)?

1 of 3 of my e-coupons for Warm Delights were taken off of my total today
1 of 2 of my Grands Biscuits and
1 of 3 of my Total Cereals I purchased

Only one of my Warm Delights coupons for 0.50 doubled to 1.00 off.

Still it was a good deal at 1.86 OOP (and 1.37 when I ask for a refund for my overcharge on the yogurt):

3 Total Cereal,
2 BC Warm Delights,
4 grands biscuits and
1 Fiber One Yoplait Yogurt (which rang up wrong at 2.49 and not 1.99 as listed on the shelf price).
