Kroger (Tx/La): Unadvertised deals of the week/Clearance ETC

Found 9 boxes of KIX cereal on manager special for $.79 each. They don't expire until November. Also, went to the cereal aisle and found $3.00/3 peelies on General Mills cereals (KIX was listed).

I found gain "Honeysuckle Guava something" on closeout for $4.37. This was for the 50 oz size I believe.

I used a coupon I got from an IWG for a free bottle of gain in addition to a $1.00 of coupon home mailer and the $1.00/2 PGesaver coupon making my total $2.37 for two bottles.

I saw that there were coupons for $.50/1 this weekend which double to a dollar and in addition to the $1/2 PGesaver you could spend $5.74/2.

I picked up a Kroger brand ham clearanced for 1.19#. I sliced it up, and now have cheap lunch meat in the freezer. btw, I also use the slicer for my homemade bread, so everyone can get their own slices without ravaging the loaf...read boys...LOL! They are leftover from the holidays, many saying they were packed in Nov, and need to be sold by Jan 24 or so. I didn't get the Priv Sel brand, even though there is a SC for $3. The clearance was much better per #.

My store had the packs of Splenda Brown Sugar for $1.00. I had several of the $.55 off any Splenda and got them for $.45.

The Bic Comfort 3 (4 pack) was on closeout for $2.09. There was a $2.00/1 coupon in the Sunday's paper (1/18/09) making the razors $0.09 each.

Found lots of Wholly Guacamole and Wholly Salsa reduced down to $1.47 last night. With the $1 off MOCs from recent inserts only 47c. The food expiry was March, so not reduced for quick sale.

Today i found Frenches worcestershire sauce on closeout price .79 !that means FREE when you use the .50 coupon from this 1/18/09 smartsource.enjoy!
p.s two stores had signs up but the 3rd one in my area didn't . shelf price was 1.19 when i price checked it turned out .79 so don't let the sign trick you hopefully it is at all the stores.

My Kroger had Pillsbury pie crust manager special for .50! They don't expire until 1/24 and you can freeze these. They are free with the .50/2 coupon that I think was in the 1/4 SS? Also, my Kroger still had the white aloe softsoap handsoap for $1.04 if you haven't used your .35 off coupons yet from 1/4 SS. They do expire on 1/24.
