Kroger (Texas/Louisiana) ~ Good Deal: Kroger (Tx/La): Unadvertised deals of the week/Clearance ETC ~ 2008 - 2009

Childrens Advil ages 2-11 is bogo this week 5.99(WAY too much)
but they had $2 peelies on them at my store so I got 2 of them for 1.99!! Blue raspberry flavor and grape flavor. Sale is through 28th.

My store also had clearanced pacifiers in their small markdown section: mam and gerber and nuk for 1.99-2.79.

Guess what my Krogers is doing?? They have a basket at the entrance, for those who have coupons that they don't want, you put it in the basket for other customers. I thought that was very nice.

I found Gensoy soy chips (lightly salted) on clearance for 1.29. Last week there was a whole tearpad on the Gensoy display at my Kroger for 1.50/1 wyb Naturally Preferred soymilk. Soymilk at my Kroger is 2/5.00 right now. Not a bad deal considering the normal price for Gensoy chips :/

Ellen - I shop in Houston, Southeast area. I need to put some of my coupons in there. Especially the Huggies, baby stuff. My baby is 15 years old, so no need to waste such good coupons. But, I get soo behind in cutting coupons.

I'm in the southeast Houston area also. But I haven't seen this at any of my local Kroger's. Anyone know of which stores around are doing this?

i've only seen these baskets at the kroger on red bluff in pasadena and at kroger on telephone rd. so far

that's why i haven't seen them, i usually shop on the clear lake side of town. thanks for the info, though, next time i'm over on that side i'll stop by

I've seen the baskets with catalina & insert cpns at Kroger in Beaumont on Phelan. I was so shocked - the checkers used to tear up the cpns left by customers. So I'm very excited to see the cpns being left for other to use.

Do you go to the one on Telephone?? I lost all my coupons there like a month ago ....sniff sniff :sad:
