I don't have much information for other than what is printed in the new ad.

It says "We gladly accept coupons, Manufacturer or Digital. Beginning September 14th, we will no longer double or triple coupons. See store for details."

THIS CHANGE IS ONLY AFFECTING TEXAS>LA IS IN THE CLEAR!

Oh No! This is NO good for anyone. This has not happened yet in the Midwest store locations, but I can't help but think it is coming at some point in time. If this happens, I will no longer be able to afford to shop at Kroger and will continue shopping at Meijer and Wal-Mart (who is moving towards double coupons in some markets). I think this is a crazy idea for Kroger, as other stores continue or begin these doubling policies. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens for use here in the Indiana/Michigan/Ohio areas.

Right now our Fry's (Kroger) and Safeway has been excepting all coupons are worth $1. They both have been doing this for months. There are a few stores that I find only make 3 alike coupons $1. while the rest are face value, and then some stores all alike coupons $1. but of course no overage oh well, I'll take free in some cases.

Since Kroger does not have a corporate wide policy on doubling and # of like coupons, it seems they're doing all sorts of things store by store as well as regionally

Within 10 miles of each other, the two Kroger stores in my area are completely different on the number of like coupons you can use, but both do double up to 50 cents, no limit on the # doubled, just the # of "like" coupons used. One is no limit, the other is a limit of (2) "like" coupons. Very strange.

Yep, I get one each time I go to Randalls but a royal pita doing one at a time.
Hard to build up a stockpile like that and have to drive out of my way for Randalls when I pass 2 Kroger on my daily commute

I hear ya, ZM!!! TT and Albies are out of my way but I literally pass 3 Kroger on a daily basis!! Gah.
I've only used 1/5 of my Q pile on the softsoap. The manager actually told me (after doing a few transactions with my sister Monday ) that it's one per day. I had been told one per transaction -- aka, if I leave the store and come back in I can do it again. Apparently, not so!
The next TT, told me that it didn't triple my coupon because it would make it free ...uh, no, it's 'cause the girl rang my coupon so fast, my number didn't even register first!
