They had them at the registers...BUT order for the GM Fiber-Ones did not prompt the teller, but they gave it to me anyway. My second order with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch did prompt for the card.

Are the items in the store tagged as participating in the gc promo or how do you know what works?

The items that generate a gift card are all marked as participating item but not all items are $2.79....many are other prices and higher prices...
