I would have talked to the manager right then. Then I would have called corporate when I got home.
yesterday i hit up 3 krogers to do the carefree deal. at the 2nd one the lady that was watching the self checkout stand saw my coupons and told me that they only tripled/doubled 1 like coupon. she went over and did an over ride so that only one coupon was doubled. i said "well this must be new cause i've been shopping here for a few yrs and this is the 1st i heard abt it." and she says "no, this has ALWAYS been the policy ppl just dont enforce it." so i replied, "if this was ALWAYS the policy then why are all the registars set up to double/triple up to 3 like coupons. why would you have to over ride the system for something that has ALWAYS been the policy." her response "well we cant just let everyone have free stuff."
my q?: who should i complain to this abt? the store manager or should i just call the corporate office??
TIA!

They get their money back from the manufacture.....I really don't understand these ppl.......haters I guess.
I agree... some ppl are just mad that they dont get anything for free. I would offer her help with stocking up if she would like... Girl just shake them haters off and go to another kroger and get you some free pantiliners.... :)
1 double/triple was the rule at the Kroger stores where I used to shop. Past tense since the policy.
Our Kroger just changed over to this 1 like coupon policy this past year. I really miss the double 3 like coupons policy :(

Managers actually have the right to limit quantities and coupon usage so that would not help. And actually they are correct, the actual written policy is 1 like, but the registers have been programmed for at least 5 years now to triple 3 (registers used to be programmed for unlimited, then switched to 3, and now back to unlimited)
I suggest finding a different store.
Actually, the stores EAT the cost of doubling, so they can make the rules of the game. They only get reimbursed the face value plus the handling cost of .08 per coupon
Yep, go to another store
Policy is still limit 1 and is clearly posted on all cash stands

I generally call for the manager and explain why I will no longer be shopping at that store ... not for things with coupons, not for things without coupons ... that I will buy my steaks, veggies, prescriptions, etc at another location BECAUSE he/she doesn't want to eat a "lousy" $3 in d/t Qs that I have ... (and YES, I DO LOVE it when I've got about a $250 order sitting on the register when this happens ... and only about a total of $3 in dbl/triple ... WHICH I show the manager), explaining I realize it is his/her choice to make this policy ... just as it is MY policy NOT to reward stores that use 1 d/t by buying my non-Q purchases at that location, that I will be THRILLED to drive an extra 30 miles to shop at a store that WANTS ALL my business! ... Thank ya very much! Have a great day! and smile as I sasshay out the door (silently cussing them for being _____ idiots)!

I called corporate once. The lady said that the store manager makes up the rules. So I asked her why she had a even had a job if she couldn't help the customer. She couldn't answer me. Ugh.
