More BAD News

I haven't been back yet---have another run on Monday (at a different store)---have planned for the 3-like coupons, but am hoping I will get lucky again.

I went to Kroger yesterday morning and asked the manager about the policy. She looked at me like I was speaking Greek. She told me she would take as many coupons as I wanted to present.

Sooooo....

=) I used all I had. I got the rest of the Snapples, used my rain check on the Krusteaz cookie mixes, and a few other things. I ended up leaving with more than $50 worth of product and paid $11. They even put through the Mirra store coupons, though a manager had to override them.

The Mirra poufs were on sale 10/$10 and the shower caps were on sale for $0.74.

Yay for no limits! I do understand the point of having limits. I don't like getting to the store only to find out there's nothing left, but 3 is just not enough.

Okay - this may sound stupid but what is a pouf? Is that one of those shower spounges?

By the way, sidenote, Krusteaz cookies are very tastey - I like them because they aren't super sweet.

It is not a sponge, it is more like a net. They are usually round.

I would love to find a Kroger in the Conroe area that does unlimited double and triple. The Kroger's in Tomball, Magnolia and Conroe will only do 3 like coupons.
I do have problems from time to time with the Kroger on 1488 in Magnolia with 'younger' cashiers saying 'we can only take one coupon per item' and as I calmly explain 'you can have 3 like items and use 3 coupons but if you want to ring up each item seperate so I can use all my coupons one at a time I've got all day' and they quickly change their tune. LOL

Doglover, "poufs" are meshy balls that you use to scrub your skin. My cats absolutely ADORE them.
