Can you tell me how you interpres this?

First page of Kroger ad, the General Mills Cereal, Pillsbury Pie Crust and cookie dough.

• It says: Buy any 4 save $4
• With card $1.49 each When you buy 4
• Below that it says:
• All items must be purchased in the same transaction with card. Additional quantities $2.49 with card.

The last statement is what I need help with. Does this mean we can only buy 4 of these items or if we buy 5 then the 5th one would be $2.49?

I want to buy a LOT of these.

Yes, that is how I interpret it.
To get a lot you'll have to do multiple transactions.

I have bought 8 items in 1 transaction and have gotten $4 off for each 4 items.
Don't forget that there is a catalina deal for the pillsbury buy 4 get $1 buy 5 get $2 buy 6 get $3.
I have been buying 6 pillsbury items and 2 other qualifying items and getting a $3 cat back.
There is also lots of loadable coupons for pillsbury items and gm cereal coupons that qualify for this also.

I did get my ONE Catalina. I spent $200 and only got ONE Catalina. I was a bit disappointed.
