Opinions of Sugar Land, Texas Krogers?

Anyone live in this area? My husband and I have both had issues with the Kroger on Highway 6 and Settler's Way. We live like 2 minutes from the store, so this is a great disappointment. I've run into issues using internet printout coupons, bad attitudes, and being looked down upon for using them. I really don't feel like giving them my business anymore.

My next step is to use the Marketplace Kroger off of Sweetwater. Has anyone had any issues here or good experiences? Any other Kroger nearby you recommend?

I wish I could help. I'm waaaaaaaay on the other end in the baytown area, but the kroger on garth here is excellent at taking coupons and they even take orders.

The store you mention is one of the least friendly in Sugar Land toward couponers.

I would suggest Sweetwater(they are a bit nicer) or the Marketplace store

That store is total suckville!! I go there maybe 3x a year. There is ONE nice checker there who roots on couponers but really everyone else just gives you the stink eye.

SL is filled with heavy duty couponers so sometimes finding a "nice" cashier is hard since they probably deal with illegal coupon use, shelf clearers and just moron couponers a lot.

ZM is right, that's the least friendly in the area but in my own experience, I say that sweetwater is the 2nd. I don't think I've been in that store in a year after I left my last halloween transaction sitting at the register and walking out.

That said----stay at those 2 and stay out of mine.

Wow! I had no idea SL had so many couponers to the point where they might spread some coupon hate! I went to the Sweetwater location and did well! The cashier was nice too.

Anyone want a coupon buddy for some days? I'm in my late 20's, potty trained, and real nice! No kids yet! Hopefully adopting in the next 6-8 months.

Most of the couponing for our household is pretty straight forward. It would be nice to have another gal pal who likes to coupon.

Ignore meanie greenie, she is just bitter because she breeds kids that are allergic to air
Besides, she is all the way down in Mo City (can't get there from here territory)

I'm in Sugar Land area too, but usually will drive to Market Place on Hwy 59 in Richmond. Always have good shopping experiences there (well at least 95% of time). Occassionally I will go to the one on Hwy 99, but they never seem to have as many blinnkies, peelies, etc.

I live in Stafford, but i have been going to the Kroger on Sweetwater and have never had any problems. Everyone is always great! Although i used to go to the one on Hwy 6 and never had any problems either.

Agreed, you walk WAY too fast and know way too much about everything for someone who is "newish" to keep up.

btw, there is some almond milk dying a slow painful death in my work fridge that would love to see itself in the gullet of your kiddo before it rots in that fridge. How about you meet me soon, so I can give it to ya!

And yes, I walk fast, but I have to.
I work 40 hrs week
I coupon 40 hrs week
it is suggested I "should" sleep 8 hrs a night, so 64 hrs
That is lots of time out of life!
