    QUESTION $5.00/5 Kraft Products

I was wondering if anyone was having success using the $5.00/5 Kraft dairy coupon that came out a few days ago, at Krogers. I just got back from a store other than Kroger and was told no. Thanks.

Okay ... you're talking about the IP? What reason are they giving?

I didn't know about this one til saw your post. Just printed it ... only thing I see "odd" is the Bar code has mostly zeros.

EDIT: betting it beeps, probably wanting cashier to verify products or because of the dollar amount of the Q, so they're saying it won't scan ... sound right?

I haven't tried at Kroger's yet. About to head out now. I tried at Wal-Mart and it was a flat no. Apparently they believe it to be a fraud. I just wasn't in the mood to talk with a store manager at the time.

It scanned and said to enter amount. When cashier entered $5.00 it said coupon was too large.

But I will let you know how my trip to Kroger's goes today.

Bummer....I was going to go to Walmart today to price match the Kraft deals in the Brookshire Brother's ad. This stinks

I was looking at this on the Printable Coupons thread. (sorry) I forget the person that suggested it, but it sounds like a good idea to avoid such questions:

Go to Coupon Resource Center (the site listed ON the coupon itself for

coupon verification!!), put in your verification code (the 16 digit #s under the "thing" beneath the exp. date), hit enter. THEN, when it comes up saying (basically) "yep! it's a REAL coupon!" PRINT that page and put it WITH the coupon.
Do same on second one if you printed two -- take THIS printout with you to the store!

There are/were also peelies on some of the Kraft products that SAID go to Kraft.com and print this coupon ... if you have/find one of those, put THAT with this other info to take to the store!

-- How much more proof can we give them???? ... for crying out loud, it comes down to $1/1 each for 5 products ... and, considering I think the cheese slices alone were something like $1.79 at Kroger last mega, you're going to be paying "something" even after the coupon!

If they say it won't scan because it beeps, coupons that have "00" in the next to the last two digits of the bar code DO that, so cashier will input the amount! -- it IS scanning properly ... to tell cashier to input the $5.00!!

[Personally, when I get ready to use, I'll probably walk in the store and find the manager, tell him what the Q's going to do, show him all my proof, and expect him to agree to honor it!

Thanks for that tip. I'm going to try it! If you're in the Houston area and have a Brookshire Brothers near you, that is the best place I have found to use the coupons pricewise.

The following items are 2/$4 through Tuesday, so they will be $1/each after the coupon:

*Crumbles, cubes, sticks, or shredded cheese - 2/$4
    *Chunk cheese - 2/$4
    *American cheese singles - 2/$4

I've done this one twice now - at Kroger - no issue with coupon, but manager sure looked at all of mine closely.

At Brookshires, I got 5 pkgs sliced cheese - 2 for $3 - best one so far!
