Went to Kroger Bossier City, LA. I bought 8 sobe waters and an 8 pack of 12 oz. diet coke and only paid a $1.23. The cashier took off a $1.59 for each of my four sobe BOGO free coupons so I picked up the diet coke for my filler. So here's my great deal:
8 So Be Life Water (3.04)
1 8pk 12oz. Diet Coke (3.50)
Total 6.54
minus-4 coupons 6.36
Total 18 plus my tax
That was a great run for me.
The first time that I used these Sobe BOGO Q's cashier took off $1.49, the second time a different cashier let the computer take off what it wanted and it took off $1.79 which I really do not understand because the limit on the Q is $1.69......
IYO should I bring the limit to the attention of this cashier? I definitely do not want her to get in trouble, but the computer did it automatically.
DH just turned 25 yrs old, YEAH insurance went down by over $130.00 a month.
Summer is here.... sanity is fleeting....... 8 yr old twin boys and 4 yr old boy.
The computers learn the price of products. After like three times of scanning a free coupon at 1.66 it will automatically deduct 1.66 for the same coupon at every register.
Don't worry about it going over, for every overage there was a customer ripped off. YKWIM? Perhaps one customer that day only got .38 off because that was the price after mega.
Cashiers can override the price of free coupons and coupons in general. If you feel she needs more training perhaps you could bring it up with her supervisor. It's not your fault she doesn't know what to do.

I was one that a cashier overrode and only took off $1 ...Personally, when I notice a Q doing that, I'll call it to cashier's attention and let them make the call. Some will override, others not.
I can't remember all the details right now, but I had one cashier that read a "free" Q (think it was "up to $1.99" or something like that) and took off FULL price of item (something like $3.50). I called it to his attention, and his response was "Free means FREE! so I'm giving you full price!" ... I even pointed out the "up to $x.xx" part and that I didn't want him to lose his job or get written up ... he cheerfully insisted "Free means FREE!" ... oookkkaaayy.
You never know WHAT'S going to happen when you shop!![]()
Bossier City only let me use 1 coupon because of the wording.Youree drive, however, has not been a problem.
I noticed all the Mirra products are all on sale right now. The face wipes are $2.99 so if you still have the Mirra $5/2 coupon, you will only pay $.98 for 2 packages!
