Kroger TX/LA: Super Double Day is a coming!!

Yes, they lost a LOT of money last time, not only in coupon cost but in manpower for store cashiers getting overtime. From the sounds of the words from the consumer affairs manager, we will not get another. Other regions have local competition that allows for this, but we don't

not to mention all of US "screaming at the top of our lungs" that the computers didn't get re-set properly, which cost more man-hours correcting it ... and cost US money/savings in the process.
I know a lot of folks loved SuperDouble DAY last time, but I was not a fan. Seemed like the savings were eaten up by the problems after.

I just got an ad/coupon from Kroger where it's stating that "it's back" -- the "cart buster savings event."

I HOPE that it's the double day, but if not quite that, then it looks like they're going to try something similar.

Let's hope it's just as good, with glitches fixed!

I asked someone at my local Kroger's about this and a look of horror came over her face. She told me that management said that they will NEVER do that again. I hope she is wrong.

I live in Texas and I just found out that one Kroger (the Crowley store) is doing the Super Double deal until September 27th.

In case anyone had not heard 3 Krogers in Bryan/College Station are also having Super Doubles until Tuesday Sept 28th. Its only 4 stores in total in our region :(
