Thank you so much for posting the link to the Kroger loadables, i have had a hard time finding the link!! :)
Kroger Card Loadable Coupon sites and discussion!
Kroger has partnered with various different services to allow consumers to load 1 time use coupons onto their Kroger Plus card! As of right now, these coupons can be used in conjuction with paper manufacturer coupons for additional savings!
If you do NOT live in a large city, you may want to change your location on cellfire to a larger city, like Dallas or Houston, then you will have more coupon choices pop up. (thanks for ellenbeth for this tip)
There is some great confusion, and for good reason, about all the loadable coupons and how they work. I hope this thread will help clear up some of the questions and help answer what we know so far about these coupons.
As of this writing, there are 5 sites that allow you to load coupons onto your Kroger(and Safeway-Randalls-Tom Thumb) cards. Each works a little differently, thus some of the cause for confusion. I am going to provide you the knowledge I have of these coupons and how they work. Most this knowledge has been acquired through using them myself, as well as reading other's experiences in using these coupons. Hopefully this will be clear for everyone and will not make you head spin too much!
Here goes!
The sites are Cellfire, Shortcuts, PGEsaver, Kroger and Upromise.
The first 3 are loadable coupons that actually come off at the register with your qualifying purchase. The fourth, the Kroger site, I will explain further down. The fifth, Upromise, does not appear on your receipt tape, but gets added to your Upromise account at a later date. For more information on Upromise, please visit this forum.
A couple things that are similar in all these programs.
1. These coupons are one time use only. Meaning, if the coupon is for $.50 off one yogurt, it will only take off .50 ONCE regardless of how many yogurts you buy. It is possible for the coupon to reset with a different expiration date. In this case, you would be able to load that second coupon and repeat the savings.
2. These coupons do not double or triple. They are at face value only.
3. These coupons will not come off on manager special items. If the true barcode of the product is not scanned, the system will not register the item as being participating. (This does not include reduced for quick sale where the original barcode is scanned)
4. Each site only allows 50 active coupons on your Kroger card at a time. IE 50 on cellfire, 50 on shortcuts, etc.
5. Each coupon will stay on your card until it has been redeemed or it expires.(exception to this rule is Kroger site, more further down)
Now to separate the uniqueness of each program.
Cellfire
Cellfire is a site that you need a phone number to set up your account. It asks for your cell number and sends a one time text code upon set up but people have had success using home phone numbers as well. Once you have an account, you need to add your store loyalty cards and then you can log in and load the coupons directly from your pc onto your shopper card.
Cellfire resets their coupons every other Tuesday. You have two weeks to load the current set of coupons to your card. You have another two weeks before these coupons actually expire. For this reason, you can have two of the same coupon active on your card at the same time.
Now the way cellfire is unique. When the coupons reset, it will show you what is available to load on your Kroger card and your Randalls’ card. It will show each of these in separate lists, so you need to pay close attention to make sure you are loading it to the appropriate card. You can load all the coupons to both cards, but must do so one at a time.
Another difference between Kroger and Randalls when it comes to cellfire.
If you have 2 identical coupons for the $1 off yogurt loaded to your Kroger card, you need to purchase 2 of these yogurts for both of your $1 off loadables to come off.
At Randalls, it appears you only need to purchase 1 for ALL loadables to come off.
Shortcuts
Shortcuts staggers their time for loading coupons and I have not quite figured out the pattern(if there is one). There is also the chance to have duplicate coupons due to the staggering expiration dates. I just try to check weekly for new coupons. Shortcuts allows you to enter your Kroger and Randalls’ card as well. The difference is they do not have a separate list for each store. They simply offer the coupon and you load it to your account. If you have entered both a Kroger and a Randalls’ card, it will take off that coupon at either store with qualifying purchase. The interesting thing here is that you can only use that coupon at ONE of the stores. With our $1 yogurt coupon example, lets say I load it to my account. I then go to Kroger and buy the yogurt and get my $1 off (as noted under the item on the receipt). That coupon is now GONE from my account and will not be available for use at Randalls’.
Shortcuts however follows the same rule as cellfire when it comes to how many come off.
If you have 2 identical coupons for the $1 off yogurt loaded to your Kroger card, you need to purchase 2 of these yogurts for both of your $1 off loadables to come off.
At Randalls, it appears you only need to purchase 1 for ALL loadables to come off.
Kroger
Working on the update on this
Upromise
Unlike the top 3 mentioned loadable sites, Upromise does not come off at time of purchase. You do have to go load your account with the coupons before shopping. When you load your account, you can purchase the participating products at any Upromise participating stores you have loaded to your Upromise account. Currently I have Randalls, Kroger and CVS, but I do believe Albertson still has store loyalty cards that you can use for Upromise. Just confirm you have the store loyalty cards tied to your Upromise, load the coupons onto your account, and Upromise will add that money into your account at a later time. I have yet to have a problem getting the items added, but it does seem to take awhile to show up in the account(several weeks minimum)

Houston, TX!
how many of you do Upromise? it's for school no?
thx ZM for the type up![]()
You CAN use it for school, or you CAN roll it into existing student loans, OR you CAN ask for them to send you a check with your savings!
To sign up, go here and enter code (give me a minute to find it!)
here is how to withdraw money from the upromise site:
Can I withdraw company contributions from my Upromise account without transferring them to a savings plan, and if so, how?
You can withdraw your Upromise contributions at any time during your membership. To withdraw company contributions from your Upromise account, submit a letter in writing to Upromise requesting a withdrawal from your Upromise account. The letter must state your full name and exact amount that you would like to withdraw, up to total amount available in your account, pending contributions are not eligible for withdrawal.
For the protection of our members, we require that your letter either be notarized or contain a Signature Guarantee if the withdrawal request is in excess of $200. A Signature Guarantee is a guarantee you can obtain from a financial institution, such as your bank, that your signature is yours and that it is genuine.
Withdrawal letters should be sent to:
Upromise
ATTN: Customer Care
P.O. Box 55555
Boston, MA 02205-5555
Download Withdrawal Request Form
Checks are sent once per calendar quarter, so you should typically receive your check within 12 weeks of your request being received.

I learn something new everyday. I would request the check. Do you ladies (and gents) request a check per quarter? month? year? do share please.thanks zm for the info!
Well, dang, I am looking for the code to earn an instant amount for signing up, but cannot find it anymore.
I don't ask for the check because I am just lazy! It won't make you rich, but I just remember to go in once a month and load all the coupons and then I am pleasantly suprised to find items I bought FREE/cheap at Kroger, Randalls, CVS or Albertsons(ok, not anymore) or Bed Bath and Beyond earn me money.
I don't have the credit card either, so mine is just savings from getting lucky and buying items on their list.
Let me see what my account is up to - $158.85 since 01/2004. Like I said, you will not get rich, but I don't actively persue the savings either(except for loading the ecoupons monthly)

Couple of things. Maybe I missed something, so if you don't mind pointing me in the right direction please.
:shrug7: OP said 5 sites but listed 4. Is there a 5th?
:shrug7: I've noticed recently I haven't been getting much of any savings coming off my orders. Do they still come off if/when a paper coupons is also presented for the same item?
(where's the hopeful smiley?) I was playing around with the GroceryIQ app on my iPhone and came across a tab for loadables... So I continue and it says I can load these to my Safeway partner store card... I'm getting excited now because this app is run by www.coupons.com (I hope it's ok to post the link) and the coupons available for loading in the app are the same as their IPs! I looked on their site and terms of use and whatnot but I can't find the details I know WE all want to know. Does anyone here know them? First and foremost, do they work at all? Then, do they work like our other e-coupons?
Anyone? If this is in the wrong place, I'll gladly repost.
Thnx!!!! I love y'all!
