Kroger TX/LA: P&G buy 4 get $4 off question

Can someone please explain to me how this deal works, I have never done it before.

The way it works is you have to buy 4 of the participating products and then it will automatically take off the $4. Right now the Tide is $5.99 and you buy 4 of them it will take off $4 automatically bringing them to $4.99 each. And if you got this past Sunday's insert, there is a coupon for $1/1 tide. If you use that q, they will be $3.99 each if you have 4 coupons. HTH

you can mix and match from all the items that qualify. I dont have the list in front of me at this time... u can do multiples, ie.. buy 8 participating items .. i use the self scanners so i can see whats happening .. when i push the pay now button it takes the $4.00 off if i have 8 participating items it take 8 off... i have done up to 12... then i hand my Qs over to the attendent and day dream as to how im going to spend all the money im saving

So that's how it works I thought I had to buy 4 participatiing items and something that wasn't included in the sale(not p&g) because on my ad it says "$4 savings is on non-Procter & Gamble" I'm still learning

Thanks for the explanation! I also thought by the wording, that you had to buy other items, and the $4 came off them.

The thing that caught my eye was the covergirl, cheapest I saw was the eyebrow pencils/eyeliners for $1.12 (price after $4 off) there's a q in P&G inserts $2.50/2 so free . I can't remember the prices on the other makeup and I didn't finish looking at all of it, was in a hurry.

my kroger ad just said 25% off of covergirl. it didn't mention it as part of the p&g deal.

I did 8 of the CG eyeshadows - $1.25 each with the P&G deal, and with the $2.50/2 coupons, they were all free! I was trying to find a really good deal on the CG/Olay stuff, because I've been wanting to try it, but couldn't get it under $5 OOP, so maybe I'll wait for Wags to do BOGO again.

Ad states the $4 must come off non P&G items so just keep that in mind when you are posting. I don't want to have to issue warnings infractions
