Kroger (TX/LA) Kroger site loadable coupons glitch

Ok, this has happened to me twice now and both times I was buying reduced for quick sale items from the meat department.

The first time I was purchasing Hillshire Farm Deli Select on manager special. I purchased 3 but the cashier only rang 1 correctly, the other 2 he rang the regular barcode. Well on my receipt under one of the regular ones I had the following description
PS A Roast -$5

Well this matches a coupon I loaded for Private Selection Angus Roast from the Kroger website. I thought oh well, a fluke, whatever.

Then TODAY I purchased some reduced fresh chicken(to use my $3 cat from the OEP deal)
Anyway, under my chicken I have the following
PS Turkey -$2

Soooooo, I don't know if this is happening because I am buying reduced items, or if it is because I am just buying stuff from the meat department.

That's happened to me before too. I was getting chicken that had been reduced and tried using a $2 off wings or poultry q and it wouldn't take. But receipt did say PS roast -$2.

Found out later the "Manager's Special" sticker people had it as egg rolls of all things . Ever since then I've been paying attention to what the sticker reads (other than the price).

It came off mine when I bought the hormel pepperoni (no reduced items), so who knows!

hmm come to think of it, I did have the pepperonis in my first transaction, but nothing from that dept besides the chicken in my second and the reduced tag does say chicken

I called today because my ragu .55/2 coupon didn't come off and was asked if they were manager special because turns out the coupons don't come off manager specials according to her system and they also don't come off b1g1 free if it is $/2 if the store is having a sale.If it's not any of these they round it up to the next dollar and credit your card to be used at your next visit.they also don't come off if cellfire or shortcuts are used for that item.HTH
