Kroger (Texas/Louisiana) ~ Vent: BAD NEWS- Kroger caught onto us with loadables

Well, the fun is up!

Went to Kroger today at lunch and was getting one Betty Crocker pouch potatoes for $1. I had a loadable for .40 and a paper coupon for .40(IP).

This .40 IP was the only .40 coupon I had and when I looked at my receipt, I noticed it looks like this:

Scanned coupon .40
Bonus Coupon .20

SOOOOOO, I still got the potatoes for free after the loadable but ZERO overage. Just a heads up with a mega deal coming up. Looks like the programmers finally figured out how to keep us from getting overage when using loadables with paper coupons:sad:

ZM are you sure? I just went to Kroger 30 mins ago and got two Totinos used to .35 qs and then to my surprise I got a .55 shorcut q. I bought 2 totinos and a .50 candy and my total was -.05.

i was suprised when my .55 tostino loadable came off last week.

hope you're right nessy! all i have on my list this week is produce, hope someone else can confirm as well!

hmm, odd.
I do know I only had 1 .40 coupon and it was the BC printable. I used one before and it doubled .80, so I just assumed it was because of my loadable.
Now I don't know what to make of it all. Guess I need to find another overage item to test it on. hmmmm
