    DD3 Old El Paso Deal

There's a cat promo buy 3 Old El Paso items get $1 off meat/chicken buy 6 items get $3 off meat/chicken. If you still have the printables for .60/2 it's a great deal combined w/ E-Qs. Also, there's pink peelies for Free seasoning WYB 2 OEP products.

Buy 6 seasonings which I think go for .99.

    6*.99= 5.94-(1.98 FREE PEELIES)=3.96-(4*.60 2 IP & 2 SC)=1.56!!! and get a cat!

It may be less if you have 3 .60/2 shortcut/cellfire qs but I was dumb and loaded them all up on cellfire for Tom Thumb which does not carry OEP seasoning!!!

Also, cheap warm delights! They are $1.98 minus .50 IP & .50 SC/CF=.50!!!
IVDSO: High value diaper coupons, FREE Qs, Suave .50/1, Dulcolax IP $4
    Have: Snuggle $3, Annie's products .50/1, Vitamin Water $1/2, Bumble Bee $1/2

Randalls carries the OEP seasoning but only 1 facing. You may have just overlooked it at TT, it was with the gravy packets and such and very hard to find at Randalls and they are doing the same catalina promo.

I looked ALL over for it @ Randalls, asked the mod and the scan coordinator and no one knew, they said they used to carry it but apparently don't. ARGH if it really was there....:hectic1:

Well, they had it on 9-8 when I went. I just checked my blog and that was the last time I bought it at Randalls.

I've checked 3 different ones and they don't sell it. I've looked by the seasonings and by hispanic food. Ughhhh....it's boo boo! I have no choice but this at Kroger since TT all the other OEP stuff I don't like except Taco shells and they're too expensive! Although, they have OEP enchilada sauce. Has anyone tried it? Is it good? Keep in mind I'm Mexican and I only like authentic tasting stuff. Like the Mission flour tortillas....YUCK!!! If you like these try homemade ones, you will think you died and went to heaven!

FYI, try making tortillas at home! It is easy and once you go homemade you'll never go back! Plus, the tortilla flour is at the most $3 for the small bag and you get a crapload of tortillas. All you do is add water, knead until it's not gooeey, roll into medium smooshed balls, let it sit for a while, sprinkle some flour over them and on the counter, use a rolling pin and (this is the hardest part!) try to flatten them into a circle. Then put on a griddle and flip until done. BTW, when I was younger and my mom taught me, mine always came out uneven and oddly shaped, but ehhh they taste sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!

Nessy, I hear ya, girl! My Popa was originally from Monterrey, and my WASP Mom finally learned to make tortillas! ... I liked the thicker ones, hot off the burner, lathered with margarine .... YUM!

Popa was the only person I'd ever known that used a 1/4" drill to mash his refried beans! ... It worked so well, I didn't own a mixer until I was in my 40s -- always just kept a drill in the kitchen!

You shoulda seen my husband the first time I bought a package of tortillas, turned on the stove burners and threw a tortilla on each of them ... "You're gonna burn yourself and the house down." ... ??? "I don't think so ..."! DH "how ya gonna turn 'em over?" Me "duh ... with my fingers, how do you think?" ... He finally figured out that if he didn't get outta my way and let me cook them, HE was gonna get one of us hurt! Since then, he just shakes his head and stays out of the way!

I had google WASP!!! lol A drill, HARDCORE!!! My mami uses a regular masher. My dad is so hardcore he can touch the hot stove burners and not feel a thing. Yeah, that's how we do it too w/ las tortillas. I miss my mom's Mexican cooking since I moved out. Sadly, I was one of those lazy childruns who didn't learn how to cook til I moved out. I'm still learning how to make some stuff. As I speak, I'm making some beans for some tostadas.

    Nessy,
Know what ya mean about missing the cooking ... my Popa could make the most bestest, mouth-watering, tummy-filling Spanish rice -- and I don't mean that boiled stuff they sell in restaurants. His was more like the Chinese fried rice ... he had a skillet that we coulda used a third burner in the middle of the stove for, used 4 different meats, YUM!!! ... I watched him cook it, for years, but never figured out how he did it and he didn't know what a "recipe" was! [You shoulda tasted his meatballs and spaghetti! ... took one of those electric roaster ovens just to cook the sauce, pigs feet (yuk), hard boiled eggs (yuk), and meatballs (yum, yum, yum!)!!! -- Popa's first wife was Sicilian.] ...
Popa cooked "table food", Mom cooked fresh veggies out of garden and pies and some mean fried corn bread!, and I baked ... none of it was fancy, but it sure was GOOD!! It's a wonder I didn't (and don't) weigh 900 lbs with all that good food!
