Kroger (Texas/Louisiana) ~ Store Flyer: Kroger 8/30/09 insert: First-time savings

Found this Kroger one-sheet insert in the early edition of the 8-30-09 Houston Chronicle. Please note: not all papers may get this. I have to go a long ways to get a chronicle with inserts like this.

"First-time savings on new items to brighten up every day!"

no fair! I didn't get any in any of the papers I got. but, I did notice the PG for Sept was in there ... thought it was supposed to be next Sunday (per Taylortown) ... so make sure you don't throw it away!!

I don't see the kroger thingy or pg coupons but I do have 2 redplums for some weird reason....too bad it wasn't 2 ss!!!

umph ... you ever get the idea they sometimes like messin' with us ... just for fun?! I mean, how "exciting" of a job can it be to stuff inserts/ads in newspapers? Gotta have a little fun now and then!

Funny thing was, my PG had 8/30/09 printed on the "spine" of it. Let's see, the RP was in first section of ads, face up I think; In second section of ads, SS near (just behind?) the WAG ad face down I think, then PG was definitely face down right at the ... what do you call it? ... .. okay, think it was some kind of sports store's full pages ad that held the second group of inserts, just before you got to the last fold of the sports store pages, was the PG face down, kinda towards the right side of paper's edge ... think it was behind a big glossy page that was black/dark? (no idea what it was for ... I was looking for Qs!).

Hope that didn't confuse anyone worse!

I always think someone is messing with me. Paper was always perfect when it was delivered to me but I keep forgetting to pay them (ooopsie) so I have to buy papers at the store now. Last week my paper had 6 verizon wireless ads..... not sure why it can't ever have 6 redplums or 6 ss.

Mine didn't have those coupons, but in the A section of the paper, there was a Q for a $25 gift card w/ a transferred prescription!
