    Had a great time!!! Noticed all of the women with organized binders - my kinda people. I left my binder at home and used the accordian file which fit into my purse.

    The Kroger on Rayford kept stocking through out the day. The kids and I were there at 7:00 and went back with the Mom about 2:00 p.m. The items that were out as I was leaving was back in stock during the afternoon, except for the easy mac items.

    I was able to get what I wanted and was able to get a few bags specifically for the food shelter.

    When do we do it again?

    It went great for me in Sherman. Store opened at 6 and My husband, son and I arrived at 6:20 am and there were about 15 cars out front. The store was not to busy at first but by 8 am as I was checking out it was really getting busy. The lines were long but no to bad. Worht the wait for sure...

    My total OOP was 120.00 and I saved 275.00 I was very pleased with my overall savings of 67%...

    Alright, here is my final total.

    # Items: 415
    $ Paid: $106.55
    $ Saved: $784.16
    $/Item: $0.257

    I did find $6 in mistakes I made, and I should be getting $27.50 back in rebates. Still not too bad for a day (and night's) work! I took 3 pictures of all the different items, hopefully I figured out how to upload properly.

    I went to my local one at 10:30. They close at 1:00 but told me the registers would switch at 12:15. At 12:15 the manager came up to me to tell me the registers were not flipping until 1:00 (when they close) so if I want, they would store my cart (minus the perishables) for me until Sat. So I put all my perishables away and kept shopping. At 12:45 the registers flipped, so I made a mad dash to get the perishables back. I missed a few things, but still had 2 full carts (but did not wipe them out of anything).
    7 transactions (had approval from manager)
    opp - $98
    Saved - just over $500

    I even had the store GM bagging my groceries at 1:30 as I am locked in with the employees. I apologized and thanked them for staying late for me and he said not to worry and he should be thanking me for my business. As I mentioned in a different post - I love my Kroger!!!!

    I went at 11pm with my 8 year old daughter in tow :) I shop at the Kroger at Kuykendahl/2920 in Spring. There were not many people there, maybe a dozen or so couponers. I got everything I wanted! I could have done more, but at some point I was just wiped out!

    Total before sales and coupons - $259
    Total after sales and coupons - $57

    zm posted my pics on her own blog! I have been lurking on this site for some time now and this sale was SO awesome and the spreadsheet made it so easy for me to do that I had to register to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who posts here! I've been couponing for a few months now and this forum is my favorite spot to find deals :) My family of 5 loves all the free stuff!

    One quick question - what is "repping" and how do you do that?

    223 items, about 58 different things, 7 transactions
    $386.55 Kroger prices
    $67.60 oop, incl 7.78 in errors - net s/h/b $59.82

    I may try to recover the $2.00 in shortcuts that didn't come off. The other 5.78, I will chalk up as the cost of extreme couponing.

    TripleA, I'm new here, too and also needed to know more about "Repping". Post 18 in this FAQ thread Frequently Asked Questions helps a lot.

    WAY TO GO!!!!! Congrats to all-bodies!!! Y'all done GOOD!! ... Me?, well, I'm so behind on clipping Qs, it ain't funny. Was a little irritated with myself ... until (like another poster said), I looked at cabinets, pantry, fridges, freezer, dining table (no garage to store things in :sad:), and wondered to myself, "and exactly where would I have put it??? ... not to mention, sounds like I woulda needed a bigger truck to haul it in!" (gotta talk to an old friend and see if he's got any box-vans, with a tommy-lift, for the next one!!)

    Whoever's GM told them Kroger should be thanking her for shopping ... What store was that? and what was his name?!! ... He needs to explain that idea to a store I know!

    I've read all of these tonight, so names are running together (apologies) ... to rep (pat on the back) a person, look at the post, go to left side where name is, look all way down in the box ... see the scales? Click on that! You can leave a note if you like, when you do it! {oh, and to see if you've been repped, you can click on User CP (in red "banner" thing towards top of page, and it'll take ya there)! ... It takes a little while to learn it all ... and I'm still learning, too!

    The person who had the numbered bags and envelopes ... you were putting the items in your reusable shopping bag with envlope of Qs? or plastic or paper bags? ... been trying to figure out how to do that sometimes, and not have store think I'm trying to steal.

    I totally missed the "basket" idea someone referenced ... anyone remember which thread that was in? or want to explain it?

    Well, thanks for a nice Sunday evening read!! Always nice to hear folks enjoying themselves, and saving so much $$$$!!! Maybe I'll have my Qs cut, and life better arranged for the next time!!

    basket idea- Get a full size shopping cart and fill it with hand carts. In the hand carts, place your separate transactions so when you get to the register you don't mess up and put too much of the same item in the same transaction

    also works well with mega deals and making sure your count is in increments of 10
