on 8/15 Kroger is going to double coupons up to $1!!!!

My friend's husband works at Kroger and told her that on Saturday Kroger in Keller will be doubling coupons up to $1 value!!! I tried googling it to see if I could find written evidence of this but could not come up with anything. Did anyone else hear about this?

I am saving my shopping for Kroger until Saturday just in case this rumor is FACT!!!

I have never been able to double up to $1 so I am pretty excited if it is true!!

Ours is a one day event as well...my saving grace on this is I also have $40 worth of new RX GC money coming to me from Kroger as well! I won't be paying a dime for ANY of my purchases on Sat!!!

I just called one of the Krogers in Irving..the one off of North MacArther. I talked to the one of the managers and he said it will happen for one saturday in August. He said they haven't been told what day yet, but it will be advertised.

I live in North Houston, and called the Kroger closest to me. They said they hadn't heard anything about it. :sad:

I'm going to call a couple more stores though! If so I'm going to be going crazy trying to figure out all the deals :hectic1:. Yeah for couponing!!!!!!
