Kroger (Texas/Louisiana) ~ Question: DFW shoppers~help please!

Our Weatherford Kroger is now gone. Since we will now have to go to Fort Worth to shop at Kroger, I don't want to just go to one store, as it would be a waist of gas. Could you please give me some tips on what other Fort Worth stores double/triple? I tried to find a thread, but no luck.

I would also like to know if Tom Thumb is any good. I found out today that Tom Thumb is a Safeway, and called the closest store. I was told only 1 coupon will be doubled/tripled. Is that so at all Tom Thumbs?

Tom Thumb only triples/doubles one like coupon...or at least the one in Fort Worth on Hulen/Bellaire does. The Kroger on Hulen just past the mall doubles/triples up to 3 as does the one on McCart/Alameda(at least they did as of last year...I moved to N. Richland Hill a year ago). Those are the only ones I ever used.

Even though Tom Thumb only doubles/ triples 1 coupon, they have some pretty good deals... like this week. The Tom Thumb forum on here is pretty much non-existent (although you can find deals on the Randalls forum for TT.)

The one on McCart does not double/triple up to three any more (as of a couple months ago). They only double/triple 1. They also will not let you use coupons on manager special items usually (unless you get a really nice cashier or one who doesn't care). They have really cracked down lately!!! I definately recommend the Kroger on Hulen, they are friendly and the store is clean. The shelves do get cleared faster though...so you have to go early or the free things are all gone!
